I can't find out much about this beautiful clock. The clock sits on a marble base and is 4 3/4" tall and 3 3/8" wide at the base. The dial features beautiful (though cracked) red Guilloche enamel background. The back is stamped 1775, and 118394 (Upside down)on the back of the face. On the back of the movement are the following from the top down: Swiss, Henri Blanc Geneva (jeweler that sold it?), The Chevron name and logo and 8 Jour. I found one with a very similar case, though the dial is different. Does anyone have any more info?

Thanks, Sean and Phil! I did see one other with the same bezel, and number ring, different face, but the base was missing.

Wow Upstate! This is a real beauty. Did you get it at that auction?

Thanks, Amber! It was a sale at a large antique mall 24% off over 10$, 52% off redlined items, throughout the whole mall (over 1000 dealers). Yes it is awesome. I'm trying to find out what time frame it's from, I'm thinking late 1800s. I think red was my color this trip, I also picked up a red pin I'll post later.

I found this on Henri Blanc: I was in Geneve Switzerland last weekend at a lfea market. I found a Vienna Regulator wall clock with Henri Blanc name on the dial. After paying 250 Swiss franc for the clock, I could not find much reference to Henri Blanc...After removing the movement, I was extremely surprised to find out the it was a Lenzkirch Clock! This leads me to believe that Henri Blanc was a reseller of timepieces and Jewelry in Geneve. He had his name inscribed on the products he sold. He obviously sold high end merchandise considering your 17 jewel watch and a Lenzkirsh Clock. Had I known this...I would have bought another clock with his name on the dial...

Here's what I could find on Chevron Desk Clocks: "Description: CHEVRON DESK CLOCK.
Switzerland, mid 20th century. Brass clock with fifteen jewels resting on a marble base, retailer's stamp for the "Grogan Co., Pittsburgh", 7"h. " Source: http://www.artfact.com/auction-lot/chevron-desk-clock.-1483-c-1af818bc8b

I also found some references to Henri Blanc watches from circa 1930-1940... but I couldn't find much information on the Jeweler/Retailer. So, the company could have been in business for a very long time. That's all I got.

Nice clock. Thanks for sharing it and good luck with your search for more information.

Just wanted add one more piece of info, but it's based on the Chevron name... Antiques Clocks Price Guide for a miniature clock that auctioned/sold in 2009: "Swiss, miniature Sterling cased clock with caramel colored guilloche enamel, and a Swiss 15j stem wind movement from the base. Hallmarked and showing 'sterling' and 0.925 excellent and original movement marked "Chevron" Ht with handle up = 2" end quote. This clock sold for $1269 in 2009. Your clock is gorgeous!
