This set of shark jaws come from a bronze whaler caught here in Australia in 1978..he was only 3metres in length.
My husband was a professional fisherman in the day and caught these on a regular basis.
These sharks do not usually attack to kill humans. They can be territorial as my husband found out in the late 1970's.He was diving for crayfish when his arm was extended into a hole to get out the cray a bronze whaler came from nowhere and in the surge of the water rammed him into the rocks. He dislocated his shoulder but was not bitten.
Very lucky guy.
