This beauty stands over 9" tall. The decoration on the bottom resembles some of the coloration seen on Loetz Cytisus, but new information points to it being a Schliersee made vase. Its a documented form #109 as seen in
the book by Christine Sellner:'Glaeserner Jugendstil'.
Thanks to the detective work by Warren Galle, we now have a definitive attribution.
I love it and own its "brother".
beautiful!!!!! so loving this :)
Beautiful, and the same decor as the "brother" that FWF has. I'd say it has all the attributes and qualities of a Loetz piece, right down to the polished pontil (although that is not conclusive of course). I vote Loetz. Love it!
Ah yes, was watching that one too...almost went for it, glad to see it went to a good home.
It now became clear, thanks to the combined effort of the 'Loetz Advisory Group', especially W.Galle, that vases with this décor are made by Schliersee, this vase has shape No 109, a documented Schliersee design taken from the book by Christine Sellner:'Glaeserner Jugendstil'.
