I purchased this vase at an auction, and was so pleased with it when it arrived. It is so incredibly iridescent (over a very dark amethyst glass) that it is hard to photograph. It is a nice simple but pleasing shape, and 6.25" tall x 3.25" at its widest. From the research I have done, I believe it is most likely Rindskopf rather than Kralik, but I may be wrong. In an older post on CW, Alfredo describes the Kralik oilspot vases he owned as being very light in weight (he said almost 'eggshell'); this vase is quite substantial. If anyone thinks it is one vs. the other, please let me know, thanks!
Rindskopf I think and stunning!
Thanks Lee! :)
Michelle, good eye!
Thanks, Craig - great to know. :) I believe the Kralik oilspot decor is often on a very dark blue glass, is that correct?
Lovely Vase!
Thank you, Shawn!
