steel flask cork cap leather strap an cloth type material wrapping the steel flask , i renovate a lot of houses for new home owners an have to clean out a lot of stuff previous owners left behind an this is 1 of the items i had found .i myself would have liked to know a little bit more about it but i could not contact the previous owners to find out when or where it was from

It looks like a British/CW WW1 (or possibly WW2) canteen. The maker stamp should hopefully tell you more. Apparently the leather straps tend to be the earlier versions.
