Not exactly sure how tall she is or anything really about her. She was a gift to me from my great grandmother when I was a little girl. I know she is hard plastic because it was hard playing with her as a child :)

      Hi and welcome to CW
Your doll is 1951-1954 Ideal Baby Mine doll or Bucilla Thrift Kit doll, 11" all hard plastic fully jointed body, blue side glancing sleep eyes, four painted upper lashes, molded painted hair, marked on back: Ideal Doll. Originally sold wearing a white cloth diaper held on with a safety pin, came packaged in red and white acetate window box. She was referred to as the Thrift Kit doll because at that time you could purchase a Bucilla Thrift Kit to sew outfits for this doll. Some of the outfits offered were a Cowboy, Little Nurse, Roller Skating Dress, or Sailor Boy. They made first one in composition and yours in Hard Plastic later in the 50's .Very nice keepsake :-)

Your doll if 8 in is also called the Ideal Boopsie doll . If her eyes follow you that is that they move back and forth . Referred to as a Google eye doll . Her and Baby Mine are often so close in looks that size helps tell which one she is but both same value .
