Beautiful 3 x 5 foot Porcelain Coca Cola sign dated 1932 that I picked just 2 miles down the road from my house. The guy I got it from said he has owned it since 1966 and that he pulled it off the side of a Red Box rail train car that ran from Los Angeles to Long Beach California. He said the rail cars were replaced with the bus system in the early 60's. It is one of the nicest 3x5 coke signs I've ever seen and feel very fortunate to get this sign. Thanks for looking!
Wow, what a great find and especially knowing the history! Great pick chevy59!

Thanks Michael, knowing the history of the sign is nice!
Very nice!!!!
Wow what a find, was it a guy you knew? It looks amazing and in great shape considering it rode the rails for over 30 years!!!
Thanks Sean68!
Thank you Trey, No I did not know the guy, he had it posted on craigslist. He decided to sell it because he had a family member trying to buy it off him for a while, and they didn't agree on the price. So he put it on craigslist and got what he actually wanted out of it. Moral to this story, he proved to his family member it was worth more than $500.
Looks great chevy
Thanks AntiqueToys!
I have a major case of Sign Envy! You're right, they don't often become available in such beautiful condition. You have a fantastic sign there, chevy. Congrats.
