19th century
chinese Moon flask
dynasty blue ming style
measures 10.25" /26cm tall comes whithout serious damages, just a single minor chip at the top rim as pictured
a late 19th century chinese blue and white moon flask with applied dragon handles and painted with lucky foo dogs in cobalt. I was told this is a moon flask from circa 1875.
supposed to be from the chinese province of Jingdezhen
I found a similar flask searching through google at D-Collection inc. which is a boutique in the center44 in new york who charges 1800us-dollar for one of these.
both sides well painted with a central decorated of three foo dogs surrounded by a floral decoration. two applied dragon handles in cobalt at the side of the neck and a painting of a lotus flower in between.
