Can anyone help identify the maker of this piece? Is it Native American? I have no real idea of origin other than I purchased from a seller in Texas. I love it no matter what but I would love to know more about it!

The only thing I could find on LWM was Lee Wiser McIntosh. Hope that helps.

Thanks aghcollect, I did contact her and just sent a picture of the makers mark politely asking if it was hers, she sent quite a rude reply stating no and a rant about ebay!

Sorry about giving her name then - what a meanie she is. -- I tried looking up the LWM© but nothing else comes up - not even registered.

Please don't apologise ! any help is really appreciated - I was quite glad it was not hers after that :) . . . I am actually wondering if it it an L inside a circle rather than copyright?

I think it is a © - it just didn't get a good strike. - Re: Ms. Lee W - maybe Santa will just drop a chunk of coal down her chimney this year for being such a meanie. :)
