My best friend had a 90cc dream in the 70's. It was black an chrome. His Dad had a blue 300. Kool bikes.

I remember back in 1969 our family was stationed in Hawaii for three years (1968-1970). My dad purchased a 69' Honda 160 Dream. It was red and beautiful.

The maximum speed limit on the island was no more than 45 mph. The bike averaged at something around 100 mpg. It was his first bike as a young airman. He had the bike for approximately 1 year and then sold it. 47 years later, at 72, he purchase another, his second bike, and then another, and then another, and finally another (a Can-Am). He averages right at 1,000 mile a month.

The reason for this walk down memory lane? The Dream 300 looks almost identical to the Dream 160. Wonderful machine you have there.

Actually a '305' Dream they were everywhere when they came out. Too bad you're missing the back half of the fender, it can be had though.

Looks like you're a Coke collector, not Motorcycles. Did you want to sell ?

sent you a picture and an e-mail, looks like there is a joint where you show the fender as being 'cut'

Brings back memories of my dad. He had a Honda dream but his was black. I think his was very early 70's.

Had a 'Baby Dream' (160) in college -- LOVED it.
Just found a 305 that has supposedly been a display window bike at a dealership for the last 20 years. Seriously considering purchasing for $1000.
QUESTION -- for those of you who currently own or work on this model --
What is your opinion of it for daily riding 10-20 mile trips average with occassional 50-60 miles. Are they as dependable as I remember -- or am I asking for trouble?

Paul, I,m about to restore a 65 305 Dream. My sister had one in the late sixties. She rode it daily to work and practically all day Sat. and Sun. My other sister had a Baby Dream but never learned to ride it. The only time she took it out, she dumped it twice. From experience and being an ex Honda mechanic, I can tell you the bike is well suited for your type of driving. Very dependable machine. If you have already bought it, let me know. Ineed some extra parts (lol).
