This I am quite sure is a candle stick. I used to have too of them but I allowed the candle to burn down to low and it cracked, what a bummer.

And a very nice one too. Did you throw the other one out? There are a lot of people restoring glass these days, and you don't find too many pieces like this, especially that tall.
