I inherited this Clydesdale display and after months of surfing the internet have not been able to find out anything about it or its history. The Clydesdale team of 8 is in full tack pulling a beer wagon. The team & wagon display, not including the wood base is over 8 feet long. The all wood wagon is 26 inches long, 13 inches high, 8 inches wide and the drivers & Dalmatians appear to be hand carved. Each Clydesdale is 15 inches long, 12 inches high, in full tack and also appears to be hand carved. The display gives one the impression that this is a vintage Budweiser Collectable, but there are no visible markings I can see that it is authentic. any idea(s)?
Have you looked all the pieces over for any markings or logos. What does the plaque read.
What a grand display ! I have neighbor with a huge one he keeps on his lawn in summer . Yours is fantastic size . These were ususlly made of cast iron and many repro's on market . Yours being wood is wonderful and looks original to me ,however it may have been in a kit or a special order as I have not seen a all wood one before and I live in the Beer capital LOL . Hope someone can give you a positive ID on it .

I have looked it over pretty well and find no signatures ir signs of authenticity. hence my bit of doubt.
The plaque on the sides of the front seat have a large red "A" with a large bird flying through the center of the "A" and a star over top of the "A".
The wagon, under and just behind & below the driver's seat is printed in white lettering;
Budweiser ( in a larger font)
ANHEUSER-BUSCH INC.
ST. LOUIS, MO.
If it was hand lettered he/she was an artist!

My deceased friend was quite well to do and rather eccentric. He did his homework, but never told me of its origin. I do know he paid a lot for it, so he said. He bought it years ago from an old antique dealer closing his business, somewhere around Tampa. He knew I loved it, so I now have it, and no place to put it!
What a rarity.
