    This is one of the first trunks I got. It was covered in canvas which I removed. I stained the wood, painted the metal parts and am using it to store pillows/blankets. I love this because it's old and looks neat. It measures 34" wide by 22" high x 19" deep. I have no clue how old it is. The lock on it is Yale & Towne.

      Nice work on the re-finish. I just love bringing these old beauties back to life. Looks to be a trunk from around early 1900's. Pictures cannot be magnified so a bit hard to tell. Thank you for posting your trunks -- keep them coming and welcome to Collectors Weekly!!!

      Hi Trunkman, sorry for the delay in responding. The computer has been giving me a hard time lately. Guess it's time to get a new one. Thank you so much for the compliment. I thought it might be a turn of the century trunk. I'll post better pics of it for you.
