I am not sure on this one.

I love anything with attached flowers, but the form on this seems a little too busy for an older piece.

Any assistance on maker and era of production is appreciated.

Hi Scott, the top really reminds me of Fenton. But...?? Northwood? None of this seems right. Will think about it.

Looks like the coloring of New England Glass Peach Blow...but don't know them to add floral applications on their old peach blow...are there swirl line marks in the center of the piece looking down spiraling down?

Same type of coloring, same great legs

Funny thing Scott, I looked at a piece of Burmese Fenton today and the legs were exactly the same as your piece. Didn't get it small flake.
    9. scottvez scottvez, 11 years ago
Thanks again amber-- I would think modern, but I don't believe that it is Fenton.

I think it's Murano, 1960s - 1970s era...they did a whole series of Victorian style glass with applied flowers, also MOP satin & peachblow. They are always a little more fancy again than the original Victorian pieces, but isn't the craftsmanship just wonderful! Great piece that will display very well with the Victorian examples.

Thanks ironlace-- I wasn't tracking any murano involvement in glass like this. Something for me to look at.

      Appreciate the input!
