    (55 items)

Picked these up recently. The first one is a picture of a Union Soldier in Uniform. The second is a baby photo. I picked up the whole album and there was another one and looking back I should have got that one also as it had a lot more Union soldiers in it including what appeared to be several high ranking soldiers...

Nice company grade officer from Ohio!

The General Officer CDVs are relatively common and many of the examples out there are lithographic views that don't command as much attention (nor do they have significant value). I rather have a common soldier or officer image like yours!

Check the front or back of the album for an index of views-- often it will ID the images.

It does have a hand written note from one of the relatives but haven't been able to figure out who this guy is from the list. How did you determine he was from Ohio?

Dang, I bought it from the ancestors...

Sadly, it happens all the time valentino-- many ancestors (non collectors) just have no interest.

It would be nice to get things back to family members who desire items!

Should have written "descendants" not ancestor!
