Hello Friends,
I bought this for myself a few weeks ago, unfortunately it doesn't fit.
I wore it for a week, it was the most noticed thing about me.
I'm crazy about the design, the wear, the vivid blue enamel.
It was a big man who first wore it, as it's been sized down, and it's still a bit too big for me,( I was afraid it would slip off ).
I'd love to know something more about it, any thoughts?

You might want to research this a bit. I was in Munich during the 1972 Olympics pulling security duty after the problems and shooting were over. There was a flood of items that hit the market and not all were authorized. Anything related to that event has a value if you can connect it. I bought a mint set of the 10 mark coins and wish now I had bought all I could and other items to compliment them. When I see something like this it immediately turns a light bulb on in my memory.
Hi Budek, great ring. My Dad had a ring with this same design.
Not the same setting and background. It does not have a solid background, its more like a cutout design.
I inherited it when I was 15, it means the world to me.
As Blacksiep stated it has always reminded me of Lowenbrau logo.
It's just beautiful! Merry merry to you and yours!
I pulled my Dad's ring out. His looks more like a Dragon, than a Lion.
I'll post it. Memory is always the first to go. LoL
