These are the front and the back of a The San Man Motel and Restaurant of Manning, SC postcard. It's publication this predates 1964.
No Interstates, no chains, what an adventure to have hit the road in those days!
Thanks, Val, both for the love and for the nice commentary. I try to patronize such independents when I travel. I'd recommend the Cocca motels in New York's Capitol District...Albany, Saratoga and 2 more locations...Small is good!
Hi, v-50...thank you for the love!!!!

Merry Christmas Ted_Straub :) -- Love the colored doors on the rooms - remember when you could stop at these places and they actually had water in the pool.

Nice postcard Ted_Straub. I have been thru Manning, S.C. quite a few times work, and I think this building is still there. I will check it out next time I go thru and try to get a "after" photo to post. Hope you have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! TG
Thank you, ThrifyGypsy...that would be great if you can get a present day photo! You are very thoughtful!!!
And a very Merry Christmas and a great 2014 to you and your family!!!!
