For my birthday I received this beautifully designed Hotpoint toaster made by General Electric from the late 1910s-early 1930s. The original cloth cord and plug are still intact. This particular model (model #156T25) is nickel-plated with geometric weave cutouts and flips the toast, hence the name "Flopper" toaster.

Made from the late 1910's-1920's. It is called a Flip-Flop" type because of the way the toast can be flipped, as opposed to the "Pop-Up" type. The body is pierced nickel.
Little before my time but do remember seeing a few.
@packrat-place: Due to the toaster's American Beaux Arts design, it probably dates from the 1920s or 1930s. I am also aware that it is not a pop-up type but a flip type. All information I've included about the body and name of the toaster derive from a reputable website called toasters.org.
