These are quite a mystery, I think they are quite unique. (I have two but I only showed one.) They are made of bronze bases, ornately cut crystal, and cobalt glass columns. We're thinking 19th century, but for all we know they could be older. I'm not even sure what country they could be from. The cobalt glass is unusual, never seen that. The crystal is quite ornate, must have taken a while to cut all that. Just curious if anyone had any opinions on them? I can post better photos if anyone would like.
(I posted in Victorian but I don't know the appropriate category)
They're very beautiful. Good luck in your quest for information on them.
Gosh I would guess super early Victorian or even Georgian. Gorgeous
They are exquisite! Cut Glass Candlestick Lustres?
Thanks everyone!
Amber, that was actually my secret guess, early Victorian or Georgian, but I didn't want to say so and look stupid if it wasn't lol!
Haha, I was cautious to suggest dates. Get a little over my skis when we go mid to early 1800s.
