This Herman Miller Clock has very interesting markings. The original No147 on the bottom of the base is marked out with numerous 1's then below "124" is stamped. The letter H and the date 11/26/30 is inscribed on the bottom. I do not know anything else about this unit. But I love it. The chimes sound so neat! Any additional information or comments would be greatly appreciated.

It's actually Howard Miller Clock Co. founded 1926. I would guess the number change and marking over of the original number is from repairs to the movement by a professional horologist who may have changed something because of lack of availability of replacement parts, but you'd have to have it looked at to be certain. Very nice piece, thanks for sharing!
