I need to get the serial number because some things aren't fitting. Thanks for the information.
I guess with the demand of the "steampunk" style designs, these clocks and pocket watches have gotten faked a lot in the past ten or fifteen years. I'm no expert but if you want it for anything other ...
At first glance I would guess it's a Seth Thomas or maybe Jerome & Company clock, being it's a fairly typical mantle clock design, but the hands aren't typical of those clockmakers at all. If you open...
Very nice!
Regulator is the wall hung pendulum driven style. W. Haid I believe was a clock company of West Germany which is now defunct. I think they were known to have used some Hermle movements in their clocks...
No problem, it's worth a shot. The face looks like aluminum, which seems odd, is it?

Sure tom61375, here are two more pictures.
According to my research although my clock is of German origin it was produced in the Brittish style popular at the time for use in the stair landings of town homes. Hence the occasional reference as ...
It was apparently made by Urgos a German clockmaker circa 1930. It's certainly a unique one and a great chime sound.
Thanks for the suggestion, I'll give it a try because I'm stumped.
Thanks for the link toolate2, I'm glad there's others out there being appreciated. I am very fond of mine!
