A classic roadside attraction. Once again in Oro Grande along Route 66.
Elmer Long is still working on this and I have some bottles to donate. Admission is free but he does take donations.
I may do a part 2 on this one if there is interest.
This is is wonderfully surreal....I could see myself lost in wonder walking thought it....I love it!....:-)
Ditto inky. I love things like this. Thanks for posting fort :-)
Very nice. Here's a post from a while back on Grandma Prisbrey's bottle vilage:

Wow! Your flipping me out! I was born at George Air Force Base, my family still owns 40 acres just off of Air Base Rd., my brother lives in Apple Valley and my Father lived in Andlanto until he passed away this last year. This is all within a few miles of Oro Grande, and I don't remember ever being there. We moved to Rialto (where your Wig Wam Motel post is located) around 1955. In high school a buddy and me would hitch hike up Lake Arrowhead ( where you mentioned you were from)and camp for the weekends. I currently live in South Dakota, and am looking forward to going back and exploring the High Desert. Oro Grande will be one of my first stops. Thanks for the post.
Real Nice...... Let me get my BB gun !!!! LOL
Yes it is inky. A lot to see there.
Thank you Aimathena. Plus there are antique stores nearby.
Thank you Belltown. I'll have to get over there someday, did not know that existed.
Glad to reunite you with your past. I have been planning on exploring the high desert for a few years, I have much more to go.

I would love to see this. It sorta reminds me of the Watts Towers, like something odd. Isn't that what we here have in common??? The odd!!!
