The three dolls of my childhood. The taller (22 inches 55 cms) , in original outfit, a hard plastic, pinned legged walker with a crier in her back, blue eyes, strawberry blond plaits glued on, with "Made in England" on her back. From late 1950's.
The second I'd love some help with please, she is either black rubber or vinyl, pliable, no markings (14 inches 35 cms) brown closing eyes, no crier, bent arms, straight legs, rooted black hair (she has a wig on). She is also from late 1950's.
The third is "Little Tuppence" not my original one but a very cute replacement. Brown painted eyes look to the left, a blonde bob of rooted hair (8 inches 20 cms). I learnt to knit and sew for her.
All dolls purchased in NSW, Australia.
Sorry the dark doll I can not see clear . Does she have any marks on her back of her neck or middle of her back ?
Thanks for the reply Manikin, no no marks anywhere of any kind. That is why I am finding it difficult. I found a picture of her on a Doll's Clothes Pattern book, that I am trying to get a copy of, hopefully to give me a clue. It is this one: http://www.etsy.com/au/listing/130264120/dolls-clothes-patterns-1960s-vintage?utm_source=google&utm_medium=product_listing_promoted_en_au&utm_campaign=vintage_low
Have now got the catalogue but no info on her, great pics though..!
