I want to say this is a Ruckle or Kralik Vase, but im not 100% sure, Ive seen a similar vase attributed to Kralik. This is a interesting piece and has a very unique look to it, if anyone has any information on color, pattern, maker, or dates I would appreciate it! Thanks for looking.

Thanks Moonstone! I watched this piece for about 2 months before I bid on it, I actually felt bad because the price went down to $2.99 and still no one was bidding, so I figured I would give it a good home!

Rückl. This shape was shown in the ca 1895 Hosch catalog page as Figure 7347.

I appreciate all the loves, and Czechman, Welzebub, Bex, and charlie, Thank you so much for the information and comments, everyone has done such a good job researching and I agree this is a difficult one to agree on but, as much as I love knowing the maker, age and such, I always appreciate the beauty of the piece regardless! BTW Welzebub, Very nice website, I've made a few websites myself using Dream Weaver, it looks like you've put a lot of work into it!

      Gorgeous vase, interesting too!

And Welzebub as a glass ignorant I really appreciate sites like yours. Thanks for all your work!

"Obviously I, and many others, disagree with his "findings"."

I guess that I am one of the five:

Figure 7347 in the catalog shows a SIMILAR shape but not the same shape as shawn's piece. The most glaring difference is the lack of any sort of "acorn" top to shawn's piece. Additionally, the shell itself has significant differences as does the stem.

The Hosch catalog link was provided to best answer the date of production question presented by Shawn. It has absolutely nothing to do with glassware attribution or manufacturers.

One label is WAY better than none.

Okay, Be sure to write when you find a related shape physically labeled Welz. I didn't observe any labeled vases on the link you provided in comment #7? Well, for accuracy, there was the one vase labeled A. Rückl & Sons, Vcelnicka.
