Found this quality old fan for $10.00. It had set in a barn which was evident by it's condition. After a restoration it runs like a top! New wiring was a must. The fan weighs about 35lbs and is cast iron at the base. I have to admit when powered on it roars like a jet and pushes way to much air for the average office. All research points to a 1935 production run. It makes a nice addition to our home.

How did I miss this? Is it an oscillating fan? Anyway great fan and yes I would go with 1935.

@ fortapache, yes it is an oscillating fan. The internal gearing was dry but in good shape. New wick and oil made a big difference.
