1983 DeLorean Sportscar. This car was stashed away in a garage in Philadelphia the day it was purchased in 1983.It was only driven home from the dealership in New Jersey. The odometer reads 15 miles. The manufacturers sticker is still on the windsheild. This model was a six cylinder automatic. This car had been covered with moving blankets for most of its 30 years. The stainless steel body needs a good cleaning. I made an offer but haven't heard back. At least I have the not so good picture.
Back to the future. Mr bags are pack, I'm ready to go. LoL awesome car Ron, I hope the owner accepts your offer. :-)

This brings back many childhood memories. The factory was a couple of miles from my house, they used the road that passed our house to road test the cars before delivery. We used to sit outside for hours waiting for the Deloreans to pass so we could wave to the test drivers. No ipads in those days!
That. Is. Cool. !
Hope you win it!
Thank you everyone for looking and your comments.
Did you get it? Keep us informed...
The estate passed it on to the late owners son. he decided to keep the car.
There is a place in Texas that manufactures these from NOS parts. All bought when the company went under.
I managed a Car Museum in Pinellas Park Florida a few years ago. Got to drive theirs. That was nice. After the flurry of lawsuits that followed the John Delorean drama. Investors have tried to resurrect the franchise. There are still brand new Delorean Cars in crate and they can be had, although, not cheap.
