Unusual subjects may cause me to buy a book. Hara-Kiri certainly fits that category !
Often something here (on Collectors Weekly) sparks a connection. BELLTOWNS "Up Front" jogged a memory. I could'nt find my Bill Mauldin but this is the same genre.
For some reason, when I was small certain adults referred to me as "Peck's Bad Boy" Who Knew !
Jack Seward is a name I've seen around on a few books on learning to speak Japanese. I guess this one provides a way out if you get frustrated trying to learn all those kanji characters!
