I'm thinking about putting the poster on to another material?? it's far from being in great shape, but, don't want it to get worse.

Good thing to restore, why not give Hanoi Jane a call for advice? She should be more than able to help. I'd give you a tip but you wouldn't like it.

Hey fhrj2, you cracked me up on that one... but I totally agree. It would make a great fire starter! As far as putting it on another material, I think toilet paper sounds like a great option! lol. Thrifty

Sorry folks, but I was a protester before being drafted, during & after but don't want to get into what is obviously a biased argument from both sides. This difference of opinions has gone on too long & tore the country apart. I like the poster & think it should be well preserved as a reminder of an error in politics & the reminder of both sides of the argument. Sadly, history records are changed by being represented by only one side.

Hey, don't take things so seriously. I can't speak for fhrj2, but I wasn't trying to open up a new dialogue about the war. That is ancient history and it has already been addressed. I just was adding my 2 cents worth to a previous post. Thrifty

"linen backing" is the usual choice to mount and preserve vintage posters.

An online search will yield sources to have it done-- you may find something "local" as well. Look for framers that do "conservation framing".

Thrifty, maybe ancient history to you, but not to me. Enough said! I appreciate the support guys.
