This Per Lütken bowl is one of the presents I got last Christmas -you can see the rest here: http://www.collectorsweekly.com/stories/109465-christmas-presents-2013?in=user
It belongs to a limited series of unika bowls made in March 1978.
On pictures No.1 and No.2 you can appreciate the different colours and how irregular its walls are in both texture and thickness. On picture No.3 you can see the rough texture of the outside -which is totally soft on the inside, except for an open bubble- Pic No. 4 is a close up of the bowl from the inside. I love the effect of the different colours in the light.
It stands about 7 cm tall and its diameter measures 17 cm. It's signed on the base HG8 3017b PL
A STUNNER AT BEST!!!
Love that name unika !!
unika isn't the name but the fact that it's a piece made in a short and limited quantity and it's registered in the Per Lütken's black book of unika, rare and exhibition items.
