Found this nice German 10"serving plate a while ago, just never got around to posting it. It has a beaded orange luster ware border with stenciled flowers. The center has a bird and floral design. I think it's transfer printed and not hand painted or it maybe printed and hand colored. There is a "Y" shaped surface crack in the glaze on the bottom by the mark, but it's superficial and doesn't come though to the front.
This mark belongs to the Porzellanfabrik Kahla AG from the town of Kahla (Thuringia/Germany). The PK Unity marking itself was used exclusively by their US branch between 1925 and 1932. -Mike-
