The Air Compressor says Crane on it. I contacted Pelton and Crane and they said they have never had just Crane on their air compressors. I have serial numbers, etc. Please check out the pictures. GE made the motor for it according to one of the serial plates.

It could be a Crane water piston pump.
Without better pictures it's very hard to tell what you have, side views from each side (not from above).

I added a side pic, thanks for the input.

If that is the original color I would research Crane and Deming. They made water pumps mostly. My folks have an old one lunger pump in the cellar that is marked Crane but parts don't exist unless you research it under Crane and Deming. Just an idea.

That is a piston pump, Crane is still in business.
You must be posting your pics from your phone, I had to rotate the photo to have a better look.

This thing still runs when I plug it in, what year do you think it was made and is it worth anything?

      Could be 50's.
Value...whatever you could get for it.

Thanks everyone. I sent an email for more info to the company. They started making them in 1948 according to their main website.

This is amazing! I have the exact same pump and wanted to restore it. It still functions as well. I have had the same difficulty finding any information on it. Have you ever been able to do so? Have you possibly ever found a Parts Manual or any other information for it? Thanks!!
