been in my family for at least 70 years, would like to know any history, maker etc. they are a matched pair, slight damage to the rims and have been repaired, would like to know were they originated, belonged to my grandmother in Liverpool England.
I'm going to guess it's Japanese and i would look it up on this site and i bet you can find a match for the bottom markings http://gotheborg.com
This is definitely Japanese and known as Moriage ware. Nice piece so look after it

The mark on the base is the artists signature which will be almost impossible to find unless you know what factor and period in which he worked
