    This was my grandparents. I was told that they bought it at an antique store many years ago and have researched it as Victorian? That is the extent of what I know. Would appreciate any further info that anybody can provide. THANK YOU!

      Sorry I don't have information for you. I just wanted to say welcome to cw. And comment on how very beautiful this chair is. I hope you find the information and you're able to restore it to its original state. What a wonderful family heirloom. A true treasure. Enjoy!

      A true antique chair. Victorian Eastlake parlor chair-- would have been part of a set that included a loveseat/ settee and a few chairs.

      Base wood looks to be walnut-- it would probably look great with a new uphostery job!
