I have fallen in love with Kralik floriforms (Thanks Gary, Alfredo & Oz!) and thought this one was quite unusual. I have never seen a Kralik floriform that is made of completely colorless satin glass, in an upright form. It is very lovely and elegant - but was SO tough for me to photograph! I hope these pictures do it justice. It is 8 1/2" tall, and has four 'leaves' serving as its base. The upper flower is the same form (looks like the same mold, even) as the recumbent green and white Kralik floriform I posted on CW a few weeks ago.
Thanks, Gary! It looks very nice with my green and white floriform. The satin glass is subdued, but I like that it goes well with other shapes and finishes. I been collecting images of all the Kralik floriforms I come across, and the file is getting big - the variety of forms and colors they used is amazing!
Yep - I'll email you.
Beautiful Michelleb007...I really like this!....:-)
Any chance it might glow with the black light?
DrFluffy, I just checked, and it does! Not very brightly, but the edges and ruffled areas definitely do glow green. Again, I wouldn't have thought it would - I need to remember keep checking! :)
Thanks, Jay! There are so many beautiful forms, and I wanted to be able to remember the ones I come across. There is a Pinterest board of some Kralik floriforms, too, which is quite helpful.
That's so cool... I know, I am taking everything to my laundry room, where the black light is currently installed and checking everything.... :)
