I GUESS WHEN YOU GET TO BE MY AGE YOU JUST LOOK AROUND YOUR HOUSE AND WONDER WHERE DID ALL THIS STUFF COME FROM..... AND WHY DO I STILL HAVE IT! NOW I'M AT THE POINT OF WHAT IN THE WORLD IS IT. I SHOWED A FRIEND OF MINE THIS MORNING SHE THINKS ITS A GAME FROM JAPAN. THE LITTLE TABS LIFT UP. I THINK ITS IVORY..... WITH A BUNCH OF LITTLE STONES MAKING UP FLOWERS AND LITTLE BUGS. ANY IDEAS WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED.

    Unsolved Mystery

      Wonderful!
You have a pair of whist (english cards game) markers/counters.
Made in Japan 19th century, ivory inlaid with mother of pearl, coral and stones, this technique is called "shibayama"
      Google fore more pictures ;-)
      I LOVE THEM!!!
