Finally posting my glowing pieces, ikr. LoL
Thanks to the Hubster running out this morning in the cold rain (we're suppose to get 2' snow) to buy a uv light bulb for me.
He ever helped take the pics for cw. Aww how sweet, right LoL
Not the clearest, but at least you can see how many glow. Which is most of them, I was so pleasantly surprised.
CW does not have a depression glass with uranium category, so I'm posting in Vaseline glass.
it's often surprising how much of the depression green glass contains uranium. Takes some patients to get clear photos, and a tripod for timed long exposures.
Thank you for the love LG :)
I'm shocked that all but a handful of the green glass I have glows. He was holding a lamp with the uv light bulb in it, so clear photos were out of the question. He gave me a very nice camera for Christmas. Which I've been too intimidated to use. I'll have to try again with that.
the best results are using full manual mode: focus with lights on, use fairly high F-stop for longer focal length, gotta use a tripod, used timed shutter release or remote, play with timing
Yes ,that third eye you have is nothing to worry about!:P
Well it's about damn time, I thought we were all going to have to chip in & buy you one :-P
Love the glow Aim :-)
Tc, thanks for the camera tips. We do have a tripod that came with our video camera. I guess they're universal.
Gargo.... bahahaha!!! It's already enough like The Simpson's around here.
WS, they never have them in stock at our local hardware and Wal-Mart. I actually had to go online and check the inventory, then he drove over to a neighboring city and purchased one at Wal-Mart.
I'm still going to buy the portable mini tube version, or the flashlight.
Thanks for the love...

Awww thanks fort :)
Believe it or not, that's actually part of the lid to one of my vintage coffee pots. The Hubster took it off the coffee pot to test it. Low and behold, it glows.
Fort, the leaf looking dish is a butterfly bonbon dish.
Or better known as a cannoli dish by *¡* LoL
I had no idea it was going to glow, and it glows the brightest.
Thanks for the love
