my mickey watch. Im trying to date it, but have had no luck on my own. Is the wdp logo on the bottom next to the words walt disney productions a good copyright mark. Will be thankful for any help. Thanks in advance.
Is it missing something? Were is the front bezel and wind up stem? Dave
took it out of bezel so you could see the wdp mark on the dial
Appears to be a Helbros Made watch from early 70's. I have seen them go from 300.00 to 700.00 they are Rare and Highly Collectable. Dave
thank you for the info Dave
Looks alot like the Helbros, but after looking at my reference books and mine, the mickey mouse printed on the dail is at the bottom half. On the helbros i own and checking a couple collectors books, mickey mouse is on the top half. I believe yours is a Bradley( Elgin ). Still very nice collector piece and early 1970's. Elgin signed 5 year contract with Disney that took affect on Jan 1, 1972, and produced them under several brands, namely Bradley. Hope this helps
I looked at the Bradleys but they do not have the 17 Jewels under Mickey? Helbros has it?? Dave
Dave, I'm looking at three different Bradley 17 jewel Mickeys here on my desk, all show the 17 jewel markings under the mouse. Bradley made several mickey watches . 1 jewel, 7 jewel and 17 jewel. will post pic of my 17 .
I seen your Bradley and it states Bradley on topm of dial. This one does not have Bradley name on it?? Dave
Also look at your numbers on Bradley and this one. They are not the same, pay attention to the "6" for example. Dave
Dave go to ebay and look at this one, thanks Kerry 190506162807
Note: we'll never know unless titanium720 post pics of the movement and would really like to see that. I'll agree with you it could be a Helbros, but never say die, lol Thanks Kerry
Kerry, That onei s a Bradley because it states it right of Mickeys back. I'm gonna stick with Helbros on this one. Dave

Sorry about slow response, but after looking at the movement, I'm going with an Elgin, Thanks for sharing. Kerry
