This looked kind of nice sitting behind the counter at VOA . I couldn't figure out what it was made of initially. I checked online and I found out it's camel bones ! Yep a little 6"x 3"x 3" jewelry box made out of brass and camel bones. Now I don't think of India when I think of camels more like Egypt and the desert. I'll admit there is a bit of a "yuck" factor but it still is an interesting piece. It has a small paper label on the bottom that's printed "Made in India" Item No. with the number 1111 written in pen. -Mike-

Thanks Kyra :)...... well if they got the bones they got the camels...lol. Egypt is just the first thing that comes to my mind. I think jungles like the "Jungle Book" when I think of India. I'm sure they inhabit a lot of regions.

Awesome Mike how you found out it was camel bone. Because we don't have camels here, it seems odd to us, but hey ??? I'm glad the sticker was on the bottom of yours. My friends is only about 2" x 1" and a little different than yours and lulu's.
