re cycled glassware into garden art

i love restoring existing items we have had in the past rather than going out and always buying new new new

another of my passions, other than restoring, is trying to come up with ideas on how to reuse passed items such as glassware, metal, ceramics etc etc

came up with this idea last summer after visiting several farmer's markets and art festivals in the area along our northwest coastal towns -- many of the artisans had been using recycled glassware such as old bottles, teacups, dishes and various and other a sundries to build ornamental art for our gardens and homes -- they were fairly small but i loved the way the light played with these treasures -- in my day dreams i wanted to build or make something even bigger and more intricate so i came up with bird baths and feeders -- however my clients have used them not only for the outside gardens but for inside their homes

they have currently served as or in -- wedding for the placement of names attending the weddings and then given to the bride and groom as the wedding gift, in entry ways for mail and key storage, in bathrooms to lay out the jewelry when getting dress for an evening on the town, in sewing rooms to sit by the machines and hold the pins, needles, thread -- the list goes on and on in regards to my clients and their ingenuity -- i guess they love the way light runs threw glass just as i do
