I recently purchased this car in Australia. It was made by Simplex Models, Mineola, New York. I understand Simplex are still in business but I have tried in vain to contact them. Can anybody tell me about Simplex Models and / or any information on this pedal car please.

They were obviously big enough to excite the Ford Motor Co but although they are still in business they are hard to contact.
I don't care if it was made of left-over ICBM parts, I think it's cool! DMK, when you get the heavy rust off, try Ospho. The metal won't rust further if not exposed to real bad conditions & you can "build" over it & do your finish.
