Belize, San Pedro, Guatemala & winter in St. Maarten. I just realized that I don't know what country San Pedro belongs to so will have to look it up. Well, it's off the coast between Belize & Mexico. Came in by small boat so we seldom bother with immigration formalities. Maybe I need a Chakita banana sticker from the correct country to put in my passport?
Last pic is at an open pub on the lagoon as we are trying to watch the Super Bowl & getting ready to get on the bike. A chilly 75F with a wind chill of maybe 70F. It's true. We were meant to suffer!
Ah, San Pedro is still in Belize so no banana sticker required.

i was stuck on Lighthouse Reef for 9 days many years ago. i was just out of college and got a job on a 24' sailboat w/ Cay Caulker's biggest stoner ever. we ran into a southeaster [?] which blew and blew and wouldn't let us leave lighthouse. but what a paradise to be marooned on!

Lighthouse Reef? Cay Caulker"? Bahamas, right?
    7. ho2cultcha ho2cultcha, 9 years ago
Lighthouse Reef and Cay Caulker are in Belize. Lighthouse is the furthest eastern island of Belize - a very small and beautiful island there!

Caper, I miss a lot more than I catch. Still, a fun cheap hobby.
