This is the "Autolarm" that has a 24 hour alarm that "when set to 7AM it doesn't ring at 7PM!!! The 3" white enamel dial is illuminated with a Mazda bulb. This model, differ from the AB701, only in its dial which is identify by General Electric (above the dial center) and Telechron (below the dial center). In other words, prefixes "AB" identify the clock as GE Telechron. It's truly a piece of work that GE/Telechron billed as the King of Alarm Clocks.

I have a Zenith Clock Radio with the Telechron Autolarm feature. How do you tell the clock whether you want to wake up at 7AM or 7PM? There is no AM/PM indication.
This is an incredible clock! Thanks for sharing this information. I am now starting my search for one of these!
