Had this item too, but it also was taking up too much space in the basement as it was 4 feet around. Marked with the date on it of 1956. It was Canadian made. From my understanding -- only 4 foot ones were made in Canada so they could be seen better when Snow was blowing. Not sure if that is true or not.....lol. As you can see, my small basement was quite full. I had to let it go. :(
As for the pictures taken against my car -- A picture is worth a 1000 words AND Size does matter!! LOL
These things don't take up any space. Just hang them on the outside of the house.
OK maybe not but it is a great piece.
The 4 foot diameter buttons were also made and used in the US.
But.....the Canadian Women's Ice Hockey Team did beat the Americans for Olympic gold yesterday. So the Canadians "have that going for them. Which is nice!"
Just a note.....It had NO bullets holes (LOL) ...but had been used as a toboggan in the winter. In the old days -- they used anything. Yeah some scratches -- BUT NO bullet holes ( no rust in back either)

Thanks Phil -- Found it here in Town. Would not fit in car, so they offered to deliver it (free). Rolled it out for Pic, as that helps so much with the SIZE of it against the car....LOL. Thanks
