Been in search for one of these for a long time only to find one cheap and in great shape at a Antique Store, I added the frame to hang in my office, have no plans to remove the cover over lay, as I know so many have been removed to reveal the Butcher Cover.
That's a 2nd state Butcher alright! Nice find!!! Smart decision to leave the trunk cover- 2nd states in good condition will only continue to rise in value! I just posted some pics of my 3rd state Stereo copy last week. Great peel job was already done when I got it. It was my Holy Grail for years! I also was just given a 2nd state Mono copy as well but it is not in the best of shape. It has writing on the back and the front has a couple of small(ish) water damage spots. Still ain't gonna peel it though! :)
I hope to find one that has been pealed to display beside this one. or if I'm ever luck to find a First State. :) I'll go over and check yours out.
