This is a 1974 Iran / Persian Stamp - marking the 11th anniversary of the White Revolution. And not a small stamp either as seen compared to my Swiss Army knife for size comparison.

As a comparison the amount on this stamp: 20 Rial was worth .03 cents...
40 years later 20 Rial is worth: .0002 Cents....
When I was growing up there, I got a very generous 100 Toman or 1000 Rial as allowance... That was around 1975ish... At that time that amounted to $15 US dollars... Now 100 Toman is about 10 cents.
