My first post combined with photos of my Tango journey thus far....
This glass vase reflects my latest collection, Czech and American glass. A Czech Tango vase, not Loetz but could be Kralik or Welz or another maker.
A magnificent turquoise blue or duck egg as I like to call it, approx 9 inches tall and just looks stunning. It is filled with the colour of the sea that surrounds this great country that I call home.
Era mid 1920s to 30's. Be keen to know if anyone else has one. Purchased at an Antique Fair in Ballarat, Australia.
I've been blessed with the ability to be able to buy nice things. I've enjoyed a professional career and have an amazingly beautiful husband and family...
By posting this vase I decided to share my journey with you....

I love them all ...thanks for sharing....:-)
As you ask I have a Tango vase just like yours. A nice colour among the oranges yellows, golds and reds!
Welcome to cw. The Tango vase is Kralik, Circa: 1920-30 per this website:

Here's another one:

you are all amazing. thank you Czechman for recommending this page to me, everyone is very nice.
Welzebub, it seems it may have a very slight pontil mark, smaller than others I have seen. I have a fair few Jack in the Pulpit Victorian cranberry glass vases and their pontils are much larger,
sklo42 you are very lucky to have the others. If anyone sees any around for sale, please let me know.
Charcoal, thank you for the link, yes exactly the same, the base is unusual and therefore distinctively matched. Doesnt the red one look awesome too.
I am very very exited about my new collection. Its funny how collections progression when you find something new that you like.
Thank you again everybody.
ill try but its a very dull day today in Melbourne Australia. Its so tiny a mark that the pontil can hardly be seen. I might try tomorrow.
Also another clue, is your base flat? Mine is exactly the same as the red vase that charcoal posted.
I am very excited about the colour as Ive only seen it on one other vase, a more cone like Kralik vase. The dealer I bought it from Sunday knew that it was Czech but had no idea about the value of the item. To me its priceless because the style and lines are beautiful.
Hey Anne! I'm always glad to help as are several other people here on CW. I like your color combination the best, but the red one is bright and cheerful too. Thanks for posting and sharing.
thank you both charcoal and Leah Goodwin; still making my way around the site, what a great idea it is, a place where we can discuss our addictions and show off our things we've collected over time..everyone is very friendly too which makes a change from a lot of other places like Facebook I feel...think my rellies are over all my posts there of glass and china!

I've seen this link a few times now, ppl on here seem to use the cabinet photos a lot in here, either referencing or disputing. I just think it has some beautiful photos and I just hope one day my collection will be like this...living in hope...!
Just thought I would post it today for you all to enjoy....

Hi Anne, your display looks fabulous! My cabinet looks a mess with things stacked on top of each other. Love the tall plinth & the blue vase, i have a blue ceramic vase the same shape as yours & with a black line around the top, what a coincidence!
thanks Fran and thanks for your email. The dispaly as changed as additions arrived. Ive got quite a bit now with baskets and vases.
I'll reply over the weekend..xx
Ooh Anne, i have to tell you after seeing this vase this morning i saw one exactly the same at an antiques market today, another coincidence:) You'd have loved it there, I'd never seen so many Tango vases! Plus i got a bargain Welz vase from a charity shop i popped into on my way home, so despite not getting any Tango, which I'd love one day, it turned out a good day :)
Well done on the Welz vase, send me a photo pls.
How much was all the Tango?
Thank you Anne. Ooh now your asking. I don't remember exactly but above my budget, lol. I think most were around the £30-£40 mark. I go every fortnight so will make a note next time :)
here
this one
yes, it's very orange....
have you seen the large periwinkle one?
