Mirror given to me by my father for my billiard room. He said he has had it for 30 plus years and he got it from a bar in st. Louis county which my father says they claimed to have owned it for 40 years. Has what i think is advertisers tag on the back. I've never seen another like it. Any clarification or additional information would be appreciated. Thank you.
Update: the sticker on the back says anheuser busch and permission given to george nathan and associates. From what I can tell the gold color is not on the mirror but is a foil background.
This is the first Budweiser girl. They changed her looks 1907. So if it's not a replica (which it doesn't sound like) it's from around 1905 or so. She's very rare, could be worth quite a bit! She has the Anheuser Busch logo as necklace. In 1907 she changed to a red dress and was facing the other direction. Nice!
I would agree from what i have been able to look up. I've seen the print before, was listed as 1904 also, just never in a mirror like this. There's another mirror similar but its image is round and the big A logo doesn't date the same. The image square appears clear with a border then the image. I suppose that could be the print from 1904, inside the frame.
