Found this Aircraft sign and discovered it was from the 1940's. Some say it looks like it has been in a fire but it hasn't - it just needs cleaning, but I haven't done anything to it. Figured it was best to leave it the way I found it. I came across it in an old barn in Durham, NC. I love finding rare things, or at least items that I think are rare - or just unique ! It is a porcelain sign and it is only one-sided, but I think this may be one of my most rare and exciting finds. What do you think ?
