I think this may be an Asian antique? I have seen a plate like it that had a sticker marked TOYO, but nothing with this maker mark. It is 6 1/2" wide and 3" tall. Maybe a cigar or pipe bowl?

It doesn't matter which one it is very pretty well done
thanks Zowie.
It's a pleasure honey it's not often I call a female that
it's my cute little dog's name. I didn't have her picture to use, so it's her name and my picture, but you can call me honey anytime: my husband does.
Hi ... I am not sure other than I believe it to be Japanese as I have two plates and a vase that are exactly the same pattern and markings! Not that that helps you identify this piece any more than I can mine ... sorry! But they are very pretty!
thanks for the input. I would like to see the vase, I bet it's really pretty.
I'll try and get a photo up for you!! I don't think I can put one on this comment?!
Ok ... lol ... I've put up some shots of my vase and plates, so you should be able to find them :o)
Toyo, Toki Kaisha Ltd, founded 1917.
Well done!
Thanks woodster, Now, I wonder how old they are.
no we are in a fukagawa styling, and IMO we have to restrict the fukagawa styling , to a wakajawa
than the question remains which one = a sort of a FUKAGAWA JYAKUZAN WAKAYAMA
than the questions how old IMO we got an exclusion on early ware by means rim so something like 1960
i love this this more bang for a buck , well done congrats
