    My Official Desert Explorer Card is now validated for 2014. I found this "Piece of Heaven" meteorite today in a small lot of desert in North Las Vegas, Nevada. It's really amazing how something like this can easily stand out amongst a background of desert sand. I pretty sure there are more where this one came from. And when I do, I will be posting! =^)

      Thank you & Thank you antiquerose, be sure to have a magnet with you when checking rocks that look like this one. Meteorites are magnetic. Happy Hunting! =)
